Chenille Scarf

This is a scarf I made for my mom in March -- a little late for Christmas, but it was still chilly here in OR and a bit in Cali. It's Lion Brand Chenille in Wine and I crocheted it using double-crochet and an size hook (9 or 10mm, I unfortunately forget). It took only one skein and on me went down to almost my waist. Not sure how far it goes on my mom, but enough to do its job, I assume.

My mom got it and loved it, and my sis loved it so much that she's starting buying chenille yarn to make her own project :)

Even though I used chenille yarn, the pattern I used called for Homespun

I'm still working on that scarf BTW ...

Just gonna start this one with two links that I found:
KnitBlog
TileMachine and
Crochetville which I might get the gumption to join and Crochet Pattern Central.

They are the inspiration for me starting a crochet blog. Now if I can just get off my duff and get projects finished. Last year I did like 10 scarves for Operation Christmas Child. I also did a blanket for my neice. Now I am working on a shawl for myself, but have been doing that since March or May.
